Dashrath Sankhe will captain the MCUSA O 70 team at the IMC World Cup in New Zealand, scheduled for February 2026. Widely known as Dash, he is an experienced participant in IMC events, having played in the IMC O60 World Cup tournaments in both Australia and India. Dash holds a BCCI Level 1 coaching certification and has mentored several members of the current USA National team. He also served as Assistant Coach alongside Robin Singh during the USA Women’s team’s qualifying matches for the World Cup in Bangladesh.

Dash’s early cricketing years were spent in Baroda, India, where he played alongside notable figures such as Kiran More, Nayan Mongia, and Atul Bedade, all of whom represented INDIA at the international level. On the field, Dash has consistently delivered strong performances in both MCUSA matches and IMC events. Renowned as one of the fastest bowlers on the circuit, he is also highly skilled with the bat.

Supporting Dash will be Balakanthan Thirumalai, known as BK, who will serve as vice-captain. BK brings years of experience to the team and exemplifies outstanding fitness among O70 cricketers. His commitment to the sport remains undeterred by age, and he contributes as a dependable bowler, versatile batsman, and exceptional fielder.
