LA Avengers is a group of passionate cricketers hailing from Southern California and Arizona. With a primary objective of continuing to enjoy the game they love and forging new and old friendships, the team boasts an average of 40 years of cricket experience across various levels. Leading the team as an all-rounder is Ajay Garyali. 

BEHIND THE STUMPS: 

Boomchi Kumar, Chaithanyan S, and Sandeep Patil: These 3 top class wicketkeeper batsmen give Avengers lots of flexibility to balance the team. All three of them can bowl medium pacers, essentially a complete package. 

NEW ADDITIONS TO WATCHOUT FOR: 

Jatin Aneja: Jatin is MVP tier player with quality swing bowler and a reliable left-handed batsman. 

Vinay Misala: Vinay is a thinking cricketer and a known leader in San Diego cricket circuit, swing bowler and a versatile batsman who can adapt anywhere in the lineup. 

Chandrasekar C: Chandru as he is called has been a prolific wicket taker in SCCA league, hard hitting batsman lower down the order. 

Nilesh Halanker: Nilesh is a quicky, with zip and swing in his bowling he can surprise batsmen, a very useful middle order bat. 

Arun Tholudur: Arun is new to Avengers but not to Masters. He has been a top striker at Masters O50, he brings lot of stability to the team with his batting skills. 

SPINNING ALL-ROUNDERS: 

Inder Singh: Inder is nothing short of a champion player, brings in lots of first-class cricketing experience to the team, bowls off-spinners primarily but can surprise you with doosra, he can stabilize the innings and as needed can hit the ball easily across the park. 

Amit Agwekar: Amit was a standout batsman for Avengers at masters in 2022 O40, he can be unplayable with his slow spinners especially a PV. 

Mahesh Ahir: Mike is the manager for the team on and off the field. Quality off spinner who can bat to stabilize lower order. 

Gagan Mekala: Top order batsman who can roll his arms in spin department as needed. 

Pravin Ahir: Pravin is a top order master blaster who can accumulate runs quickly, he is a top-quality fielder and can be very useful medium pacer to support bowling attack. 

Hitesh Patel: Hitesh is a sole left arm swing bowler with the team who is a sharp fielder in slip-gully area, Hitu Bhai as we call him is a very good batsman who can maneuver the ball around very well. 

As we eagerly await the upcoming March tournament, we extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to all the organizers, sponsors, facility owners, and volunteers who have made it possible for us to participate once again.
